The Great Mother, the Divine Feminine, Eve, Isis, She of many names. However we experience her presence in our world, she is here in every being, plant, drop of water, loving relationship, everything.

I have been busy writing my book proposal with Beth Kempton and have found that this quiet, rainy Sunday morning is a moment-in-time to write to my subscribers about opportunity.

I am a sower of seeds. As a yoga teacher I bring contemplative experiences to my students so that they can delve deeply into their intentions, not just in their yoga class but their own home practice. I teach them to listen within and use those messages as a guide for how to live life off the mat. Feminine qualities such as silence, descending, intuition, belonging, and non-violence, as they are embodied in the yamas and niyamas, (first two limbs of Patanjali yoga), require us to honor our own inner knowing rather than depend on direction from outside ourselves. In this way we create a personalized experience that is powerful and authentic.

This approach is appropriate for any endeavor, not just yoga. Listening, noticing, allowing, breathing, relaxing, feeling. This authenticity is our birthright, yours and mine. And so, it’s time to honor Her place in our world
